Studying physics but living and breathing music? Fascinated by the harmony of mathematics? Enjoy playing music for fun but aspire to a career in high-tech? The Department of Musicology at the Hebrew University offers a prestigious and unique program that combines the exact sciences with musicology, including special courses in the Digital Humanities and scholarships of up to 25,000 NIS!
Who can apply: The program is open to students of Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics & Data Science. Students from other departments may be considered upon special request (please contact Prof. Yoel Greenberg at yoel.greenberg@mail.huji.ac.il).
Curriculum: The program includes a double-major track with Musicology. Participants will also be offered the opportunity to take two exclusive Digital Humanities courses that are typically not open to undergraduate students.
Scholarships: Participants may receive funding covering more than half of their tuition. In the first year, students will receive a scholarship covering 25% of tuition; for outstanding students (with a GPA of 90 or above in Musicology), the scholarship increases to 75% in the second year and 100% in the third year.
